The Shady Isle Pirates are an all-ages registered non-profit family friendly society based in Steveston, British Columbia.
Our mission is to promote and preserve nautil heritage while raising money for charitable and cultural organizations by experiencing maritime culture and arts from a hands-on re-enactment approach.
In addition, we are actively operating the mini-brigs, Liberte and Adventure in messabouts, and in festivals, as well as working on costuming, historil weaponry, dance and traditional music. Hundreds of hours go into maintaining the brigs each year from her volunteer crews. A percentage of any monies raised are donated to nautil heritage sites, charitable organizations and cultural projects in our community and abroad.

We are always looking for nautilly minded individuals who are interested in "messing-about" in boats, sharing nautil traditions such as music and shanty singing, costuming, learning the art of sword-fighting or participating in festivals and raising money or volunteering for lol charity events and nautil heritage organizations.

PIRATES LIFE FOR US - 2020
Once again scores of pirates will descend on downtown Port Orchard streets over the weekend of January 17-19 for “A Pirate’s Life for Us,” a regional celebration of all things piratey.
More than just a pub crawl, it gives a chance for Pirate re-enactors and enthusiasts to get together for fun, frolicking and to give back to the community.

Yar har fiddle dee dee! The Westport Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze 2018 is soon upon us again. This is one if not *the* largest pirate festival in the Pacific Northwest. Its three whole days of pirate mayhem starting on Friday June 21 and culminates in the annual Parade on Sunday, June 24th.
Free Fun for the whole family! The Shady Isle Pirates will be bringing our mini-brigs Liberte and Adventure and will be battling four other mini-brigs in the Westport Marina!
